Beads Benedictines of East Africa and Delbarton Students (BEADS) BEADS was established in 2007 to build relations between Delbarton School in Morristown, New Jersey and Benedictine communities in East Africa. BEADS Program Goals 1. Establish relationships between Benedictine communities in Sub-Saharan Africa and Delbarton; 2. Offer service for the apostolates of these Sub-Saharan Benedictine communities, especially their schools, catechizing of the poor, and assistance with the poor, the handicapped, and orphans; 3. Allow our students to learn about Africa’s culture, politics, economic and social needs, giving them a greater global perspective.
